About

Binoculars, but social.

Spot a Yacht started with one guy, a camera and too many boats that cost more than a small country. Now it's a crew of spotters on every coast, snapping the yachts, pinning the map and calling the rumors.

It's another sweet treat from Chenzo Designs 🍒.

What is Spot a Yacht?

A free community for boat and superyacht spotters. Members post photos and videos of yachts they see, pin them on a world map, heart each other's spots and swap stories and rumors.

Do I need an account?

Browsing is open to everyone. Posting, hearting, confirming and commenting need a free account with a username and password.

How does a sighting get confirmed?

When three other spotters tap "I saw it too", or an admin verifies it, the pin turns cyan on the map.

Are the legends true?

Some are, some aren't, most are somewhere in between. Every legend gets our honest verdict and the community votes Believe or Doubt.

What can I post?

Anything boat related: superyachts, sailboats, tenders, the guy in the dinghy. Photos or short videos, plus where and when.

What is Spot a Yacht of the Day?

Every day we feature one standout spot on the homepage, usually the most hearted fresh sighting. The spotter gets a notification and bragging rights.
